Spero Dei values a Christianity that continues to evolve, reimagine, and even reform for the 21st century, while still honoring our faith tradition. For us, faith is about a reliant trust in Christ, instead of mental agreement to beliefs and doctrines, and calling that faith. For us, Christians are to love first, foremost, and last, because that is the point of Christianity.

If You’re Going Through a Faith-Shift (5 min)

Lead minister, David Moses Perez shares that no one ever plans to go thru a faith-shift. It just happens. When things you used to believe, you no longer do, or a certain kind of christian perspective you once held, is no longer working for you… it’s not like you planned it. It’s never intentional. It just happens, and it can be quite disorienting, but ultimately, freeing.

We attune to God, self, and others. Relational attachment to God, self, and others is the heart of our existence.

We put Christ-like love into action through empathy, justice, innovation, and change, we make a difference to help heal and better the world.
